It is also far less like to release accidentally than conventional thumb break snaps. The 6287 features a semi-high-ride position and slightly forward weapon cant; a style popular with major police departments and a personal choice for individual officers. The holster rides close to the body, aiding in concealment and weapon retention. The belt loop fits either a 1.5" or 1.75" belt. The 6287 features a tensioning device and, molded sight track and orthopedic suede lining to protect the gun's sight and finish.
